The project is related to a previose Piter&Paul prison project: a Column of Light for Saint Petersburg, which are establishing a relationship between two islands: Zayachyi island on river Neva, opposite to the Winter Palace of Tzars, there situated a "Russian Bastilie" - Petropavlovskaya Krepost', and another island, island Goletz at Onega Lake about 450 km away from San Petersburg, where in Soviet times was a stone quarry - concentration camp (sort of shtraf-lager).
